"You will gain something new if you stepped out of your comfort zone"
I was so blessed that i am one step closer to few of them.

Thanks for the wonderful evening. 4 rounds of swim and other time was laughter around.

Friendship always built, when things coming to an end.

法語與西班牙語 French & Spanish

Thanks to my course, my university, provide me such a precious opportunity in learning language.
I have learnt French for about 3 years on and off since diploma.
and in this last semester of bachelor, i have to choose an elective between Spanish and Digital Media,
such a follower like me has chosen Spanish as my gang choose so. :p

However, i am really proud of myself for learning both of it although I am only in Level 1.
Sometimes i was thinking, i can speak French better than Hokkien. *embarrassing*

I have learnt french for 3 years, and i need to absorb Spanish for this semester.
At first, i did not want to put effort on it as it is too much for me.
I tend to confuse French Spanish French Spanish and it becoming Frenish.
The feeling of Urghh!! because both of it have lots of similarity.
feeling wasted to my French if I've forgot about them like that. :/
They are so many vocabulary from Stationary, Things in the house, Time, Description and blahhh!

People used to said, relationship always built only when you are leaving.
Totally agree with it! At last during final exam, i have put so much effort on Spanish.
I try to stuck as much as vocab in my brain and feeling unbelievable.
In final, i answer with full confident. I start to miss this subject.
I always believe extra language is easier to score, because we are learning what a kid learn.

Everything has come to an end.
3 more papers and I am done with Bachelor.
I told myself, I need to go for language course, either Spanish and French.
I do not want it to be wasted. However, I was thinking, what can i do with it?
Feeling confused.

Authentic or not, who cares?
Most importantly, Relax and enjoy.

Life in Toulouse Part 1

Finally arriving at Toulouse after 6 hours of TGV experience.
An overview of what we have done during the 6 hours.
We were too lucky to have the last coach, coach 10, which have only 16 seats.
and all of the seats were occupied by our group.
It was like a party area for us, perhaps.
During the 6 hours, some where sleeping, chit-chatting, watching movie, reading and playing.
As for me, i didn't get to sleep. I was playing cards at first.
and then busy taking photos, and then started our pantry and continue playing cards.
Most of us were starving as there were no food being served in the train.
Well, we did not know whether is it legal to boil hot water in the train, but we did.
All thank to Estella for the water boiler, and we enjoyed Sour Spicy Instant Noodle from China.
Like a happy kid. ;))

Below is the view of our coach. Left side were playing Big 2,
and right side were playing Mahjong Cards.
Right picture was our water boiler and the yummy noodle! excited!

We get our room yay! This was Residence de Brienne.
For the few days in France, i was staying with my "Package" - Zhinin.
This was my room for few days in Toulouse. and i like it.
With small little kitchen, decent bed, table and etc.
Not sure about the exact amount i paid, but rate in website was 220 euro per night.

Life in Toulouse was peaceful compare to Paris.
People here were friendlier. Probably it is not as touristic area as Paris.
Although it was said to be not so many pickpocket there,
But i am still under stressed that pickpockets are around.

This is just outside my residence. Loving such scenery!
People were jogging around this river.

A plain signage gained my attention as well. And the Autumn leaves.

I think i should really blog about my trip to France.
it was such a great experience that i wouldn't want to forget.

Le Bistrot du Papé, Toulouse

I always believe that, god is arranging my life.
Everything happens for a reason and that's something call FATE!

It was 2nd day in Toulouse and we were planning to visit to a restaurant which only opened at 8.30pm.
We waited for more than 1 hour and the restaurant did not has the sign to open and we decided to give up and move on to fill up our stomach. Fyi, most of the restaurants and shops in France closed at 5pm. We hardly see restaurants that operate till this late. Moreover, that was on a Sunday night.

From far, we saw a restaurant that still has its lights bright open and we decided to have a look.
Crossing over traffic lights and roads, and we are here.
Standing outside of the restaurant, viewing over the menu and the owner walked out.
He was wiping a wine glass and ask "How can i help you?"
"We were looking for food."
"What type of cuisine are you looking for, If you are looking for french cuisine, i can recommend you this and that, if you are looking for Asian cuisine, this and that and start telling us where we can find it"
First thing come into our mind is that, he is trying his best to help us! without recommending his restaurant at first. He started to ask for our budget and we were fine with 20 euro per person.
He then said, he can make it three course meal for us within the budget.

Finally, we found a decent place to settle down, and prepare to satisfy our hunger.
He is really friendly and welcoming us like we met before. I admire him as he can operate a restaurant on his own. He is the owner, he is the chef, and the waiter. Salute!
He then introduce us what is he going to prepare for Starter, main course and desert.

Before the starter is ready, he serves as with a big bowl of crackers! Our eyes O.O
and then of course with some breads dip with vinegar and olive oil.

Then, he serves us Smoked Pork Platter as starter. At first, It don't seem like suit me much, as i thought of very raw. When i chew it, it tastes different with what's on my mind. Taste good! and even better with tomatoes! Not forget to mention, the tomatoes are huge and sweet!
I usually don't eat tomatoes in Malaysia. but i am able to finish more than half of it!
*proud of myself*

Before the main course is being served, it left limited space in our tummy.
We went to the kitchen, to watch him cook walk around like our own house.
Risotto is then ready for us!
The shrimps are huge and fresh. I love it so much! Each of us get 5 shrimps!
Chef even thought us how to peel shrimp in an easier way with knife and fork.
I personally dislike the heavy white wine taste in the risotto. because i will feel dizzy after.
However, another 4 of my friends that it tastes perfect! you can give it a try if you are there.

When we are having our main course, chef serve us with white wine.
Such a perfect dinner!

Our tummy is now totally space-less! :O
but when chef serve us with caramel ice-cream with cream,
we have no excuse to resist! Although we were really full, but all of us are able to finish it.
Imagine the tastiness. ;)

Last but not least,
a group photo with pape before we leave.

Address:

Le Bistro du Papé - le Saint Germain

Me and Myself in France

Some quotes i remember, it says
"You will realize how beautiful one place is,
when you come home and rest your head on a familiar pillow."
which i think is kinda meaningful.

I was missing home one week ago,
and now I am missing the place that i have mingled for 10 days.

Forget about the pickpockets, forget about the rude and dirty,
I would use Stress-free to describe my life in France.
The life you can totally blank your mind out, just be a blind follower ;)
not to mention about some minor unhappy things,
I do enjoy shopping, food hunting, taking photographs and of course their amazing architectures!
I love this place, love the friendly locals, and love their language as well.
I like it when i try to ask questions in french, and i understand their replies.
But too much of walking was a little torture. I love to explore, but dislike the pain.

I love to explore blindly, without knowing where am I, as long as i know where i stay.
I love to view on everything and anything, especially something unique.
I love to take my own sweet time, without people rushing me.
I love to spend money depending on mood. Right mood, buy without much concern.
I love to smile to stranger who smile at me, like we met before.
Lastly, i believe in fate. Everything happen for a reason, for my good.
Do not regret on what you've done or what you've not done.
Just let it be.

This is how my travel behavior.
I am who I am <3
